Today, Angela Patterson and AJ Parker joined us to talk about the important work being done by NAMI Albany — the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
NAMI Albany provides free mental health support, online support groups, educational resources, and advocacy for residents in our area.
If you’re living with a mental health condition, you’re not alone:
1 in 5 American adults experiences some form of mental illness each year.
1 in 20 lives with a serious mental health condition, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression.
