Ken Carson has released “Cartunez,” a 13-track project that arrives as the deluxe companion to his 2026 album “xperiment.” The long-awaited release following a series of delays and shifting expectations surrounding its rollout. On streaming platforms, Cartunez is presented as the second disc of “xperiment – cartunez,” bringing the combined release to 35 songs with a total runtime of about 92 minutes.

The new project features Carson working with fellow Opium artist Destroy Lonely on “roxy reynolds,” while ApolloRed1 appears on “9 bitches” and OsamaSon joins Carson for “vamp city.” The remaining tracks include “scrape,” “swag jack,” “off a bean,” “rare creature,” “50k,” “005,” “eaters,” “fake news,” “disturbing the peace” and “yvngvmp.”

“Cartunez” also brings some controversy into the release. “9 b*tches,” featuring ApolloRed1, contains direct shots at rapper Nine Vicious, who has previously criticized the Opium camp. The track has emerged as one of the more talked-about cuts from the project following its release.

The release extends a busy year for Carson, whose “xperiment” followed his 2025 album “More Chaos.” “Cartunez” also arrives as the Atlanta rapper continues his Xperimenting Tour, with upcoming dates including Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Washington, Miami and Atlanta.
