GloRilla recently released her sophomore mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang, featuring collaborations with Moneybagg Yo, Boston Richey, and Kevo Muney.

The southern rapper just dropped the music video for “Wanna Be,” her collab with Megan Thee Stallion, which features a sample of Soulja Boy’s 2010 hit “Pretty Boy Swag”. Per Forbes, GloRilla’s admiration for Soulja Boy dates back to her childhood, sharing on the ‘Past Your Bedtime’ podcast in February: “You know, back in the day, I loved Soulja Boy so bad. He was my favorite artist. I had the biggest crush on Soulja Boy. When I was like, eight, and s**t, I thought I was gonna be his ‘Soulja Girl.’”

“Wanna Be” arrives in anticipation of Megan’s upcoming first-ever headlining tour, with Glo joining as support on select dates. The Hot Girl Summer Tour kicks off May 14 in Minneapolis, traveling across North America and Europe this summer.
